Galapagos Sport Fishing
Experience world-class fishing in a regulated area that has never been commercially fished, and is only slowly opening up to sport fishing.

About Galapagos Fishing
The Galapagos Islands is a highly protected and regulated marine reserve that has never been commercially fished and receives very little utilization pressure. Although sport fishing has existed on a small scale for some time now, strict environmental regulations have protected this natural habit. The company I've paired with is working closely with the Government to facilitate all aspects of the sport fishing experience. I was recently in the Galapagos for an exploratory trip with a group of clients, and the region did not disappoint. The fishing is based on two islands, San Cristobal Island where Striped Marlin are the main quarry and Isabela Island where giant Blue Marlin are found. Both are reached by a flight from the city of Guayaquil Equator. There are nonstop flights on American Airlines from Miami and JFK to Guayaquil.
Targeted Sport Fish Species
Galapagos is renowned for Blue and Striped Marlin fishing as well as other desirable species such as Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna and more.
