About Galapagos Fishing
The Galapagos is a highly protected and regulated area that has never been commercially fished and is slowly opening to sport fishing. I was recently in the Galapagos for an exploratory trip, and the region did not disappoint. The fishing is based on San Cristobal Island which is reached via a flight from the town of Guayaquil Equator. There are nonstop flights on American Airlines from Miami and JFK to Guayaquil.
