Giant Sturgeon on the Fraser River
Have you ever caught a ten-foot-long fresh water fish? I fished for giant prehistoric White Sturgeon this October along with my good friend, George and we had a blast! This is a short reasonably priced trip. After landing in Vancouver, we drove just over an hour to the fishing area. On our first day, George & I fought many fish and landed five, four of which were over 8 feet! The biggest fish on our three-day trip was caught by George’s friend, Mark who landed a 9 ½ foot behemoth which weighed over 400 LB! White Sturgeon are the largest fish species in North America and live over 100 years! They fight like a freight train and jump like Sail Fish!
Sturgeon can be fished year-round. I’m taking a group on June 12,13,14 2027 to target trophy size fish. The trip will include four nights lodging at Best Western Hotel with breakfast included and three full days of fishing in a calm river setting. Price: $2199 per person.
